Zufall Health Recognizes Dedicated Volunteers
Lori Jarvis, M.D., Named 2020 Zufall Volunteer of the Year
Somerville, NJ – In commemoration of National Volunteer Month, Zufall Health recognized 100 volunteers who donate their time, talents, and energy to provide a wide range of supportive services to the health center.
Zufall paid special tribute to 2020 Volunteer of the Year Lori Jarvis, M.D., whose medical skill and compassion helped Zufall successfully conduct many mobile community health clinics and vaccination events at locations across six counties. For volunteering countless hours of her time, she was honored as a true healthcare hero.
“We are deeply appreciative for the dedication and enthusiasm of all the volunteers who support our work, especially this last year as we faced the challenges and uncertainties of the pandemic,” said Eva Turbiner, Zufall’s President and Chief Executive Officer, who noted Zufall’s long history with voluntary service. “Were it not for volunteers who helped Dr. Bob Zufall and his wife Kathryn establish the health center 31 years ago, we might not exist today.”
Support for this year’s awards was provided by presenting sponsor Total Maintenance Service, Inc.
