Zufall’s Outreach Team Volunteers with America’s Grow-a-Row!
Members of Zufall's Outreach Department recently volunteered to spend an afternoon planting sweet potatoes at America's Grow-a-Row. Together the team planted 4,000 plants! The plants should yield about 32,000 pounds of sweet potatoes, which is 128,000 servings! We are so proud of our Outreach Team for their hard work! With the help of over 9,100 volunteers annually, America's Grow-a-Row is able to plant, pick, rescue, and donate over 1.3 million pounds...

Ronald I. Deblinger, D.M.D., Named 2018 Zufall Volunteer Honoree
Somerville, NJ (June 5, 2018) – More than 100 volunteers who give their time, talents, and energy to Zufall Health were honored recently at the Fourth Annual Volunteer Appreciation event at the Bridgewater Manor. The volunteers provide a wide range of supportive services at the nonprofit community health center which offers affordable medical and dental care to patients in six New Jersey counties.
Team Zufall Joins Hundreds for NJ AIDS Walk in Morristown
On Sunday, May 6th, Team Zufall joined hundreds of fellow walkers to complete a five mile loop through downtown and historic Morristown for New Jersey AIDS Walk, an annual state-wide event held in five locations around NJ. Participants walked in solidarity to show support for people living with HIV/AIDS and helped raise a state-wide total of $293,098 to assist the efforts of local HIV/AIDS service organizations. Denim Day at Franklin High School Raises Awareness About Sexual Assault
On Wednesday, April 25, Franklin High School celebrated National Denim Day, an event that raises awareness about sexual assault. Guidance Counselors, Student Assistance Counselors, the Program Coordinator of Zufall Health’s Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention Initiative (APPI) and many students participated in the day to educate their peers about this important issue.

Zufall Announces Winner of Colon Cancer Screening Challenge 2017
Congratulations to Altagracia Jimenez, the winner of the Zufall Health Colon Cancer Challenge. The lucky Dover resident was awarded $500 in ShopRite gift cards. Her name, along with all patients who were up-to-date on their colon cancer screenings by the end of 2017, were automatically entered into a free drawing.
“I’m really happy I had my screening and could win this prize”, said Ms Jimenez, who already has generous plans for some of her winnings. “First, I’m going to buy juice boxes for the children at my church and then I’m looking forward to sharing the prize to help my daughter.”

Participants at the 14th annual Breast Cancer Awareness Month kickoff in Somerset County joined Freeholder Patricia Walsh, second row-fifth from left, in support of the awareness campaign.
