Thirty-five years ago, Dr. Bob and Kay Zufall opened the doors of their small, one-night-a-week clinic in Dover. With the help of an all-volunteer team, the couple cared for about 700 patients in that first year. Since then, Zufall Health has reached over 500,000 patients through more than 1.7 million visits, operating seven days a week in seven New Jersey counties. But even as we’ve grown, our mission has remained the same: to ensure that everyone—no matter their circumstances—has access to the quality care they deserve. 

This milestone is about more than numbers; it’s about the stories of the patients whose lives we’ve changed together. Consider the veteran who hadn’t smiled in years until our dental team restored his confidence. Or the busy, single mother who finally gained access to medication for hypertension. Or the farmworker whose medical exam prompted a referral to life-saving surgery. These are the stories that define our work, and they are just a few examples of what has been made possible by your belief in our mission.
