Zufall Health’s pediatric dental team works with children to reduce their risk of tooth decay through preventive screenings and cleanings as well as educating them in the practice of good oral health habits. Our early childhood dental program, called Team Knock Out Cavities encourages parents to bring children in for their first dental visit before their first birthday.

Eligibility: All patients are welcomed regardless of income or insurance status.
Appointments: For dental care, appointments are necessary. However, walk-in emergency patients are seen for an evaluation, radiographs, prescription, and/or palliative treatment. Patients are then scheduled for follow-up care.
Procedure: New dental patients who are not currently registered and receiving medical care at Zufall Health must register prior to making their first dental appointment. Registration can be done on site at one of our locations in Bridgewater, Dover, Morristown, Flemington, Hackettstown, West Orange, Newton or Somerville. Click here to go to our locations page.
Registration: New patients will need to bring:
- Identification
- Proof of income such as a pay stub, income tax return, or a letter of employment
- Verification of address
Patients without health insurance will be charged a sliding scale fee based on their ability to pay.
First Visit: Children receive a check-up, x-rays, cleaning and fluoride during their first visit. Parents should bring a current list of all of their child’s medications, allergies, hospitalizations, and medical problems for the first visit and inform their dentist of any changes at future visits.
